Preparing files for wide-format printing

Requirements for wide-format printing files

Print files should be prepared according to the following specifications

File name convention: vision_width_height_media.tif

It is not recommended to use spaces and symbols other than letters and numbers. File names should be written with Latin letters. Files should be prepared and sent in .tif format (flatten with no layers and alpha channels).

It is advisable to send also a .jpg file with the print vision.

PRINT QUALITY – 600 DPI – WIDE-FORMAT MACHINE 3.20 M ROLL WIDTH

  • Size 1:1 – minimum 100 dpi resolution;
  • For large files 1:10 – minimum 500 dpi resolution;
  • Colour mode: CMYK (U.S. Web Coated v2);
  • All black and gray colours should be composite;
  • 8 Bits/Channel

PRINT QUALITY – 1200 DPI – HIGH-QUALITY PRINT 1.50 M ROLL WIDTH

  • Size 1:1 – minimum 150 dpi resolution;
  • Colour mode: CMYK (U.S. Web Coated v2);
  • All black and gray colours should be composite;
  • 8 Bits/Channel
